How to brew

Two ways to brew. One second steep.

Whole leaves and flowers give up their flavour slowly, so the same spoonful brews twice.

Hot

  1. 1 sachet per 8 oz cup
  2. Water at 175–185Β°F (not boiling)
  3. Steep 2–3 minutes
  4. Enjoy in the morning β€” this blend contains caffeine

Cold brew

  1. 2 sachets per quart of cold water
  2. Steep 4–6 hours in the fridge
  3. Pour over ice
  4. Finish with mint, citrus or a drizzle of honey

Not boiling. Green tea turns bitter above 185Β°F. Let the kettle sit for 2 minutes, steep 2–3 minutes, and the ginger and liquorice will carry it.

One sachet per 8 oz cup of just-boiled water, steeped 4–6 minutes (use 175–185Β°F water and 2–3 minutes for this green-tea blend). For iced tea, steep 2 sachets in a quart of cold water for 4–6 hours in the fridge.

Keep it in a cool, dark, dry place, sealed tight and away from sunlight and moisture. Dried herbs don't expire β€” they just slowly lose a little aroma and potency over time, so they're best enjoyed within about two years for peak flavor.
