Organic Chamomile Flowers χαμομήλι
Matricaria chamomilla
Whole flower heads from Grevena — honey-sweet, naturally rich in apigenin, the classic calming cup.*

For two weeks every spring, the plains below the Pindus mountains turn white. That is when our chamomile is picked.
Grevena, northern Greece — cold winters, wild springs, and the country's most fragrant chamomile.
Picked whole at full bloom, dried slowly so every head stays intact — you can count them in the bag.
Chamomile is the first thing a Greek child is given for a stomach ache, and the last thing a grandmother drinks before bed.
A teaspoon of whole flowers, steeped covered for 5–8 minutes. A spoon of honey if you like — it barely needs it.
Chamomile's calming reputation rests on apigenin and its essential oils — both concentrated in the whole flower head and both lost when flowers are crushed into dust and left in a paper bag. Whole heads keep the oil, the aroma and the honey-sweet taste.*
Ours are hand-picked in Grevena, certified organic, and dried slowly. Drink it for sleep, for the stomach, for a child's tummy ache, or simply because it tastes like a meadow.

Whole leaves and flowers give up their flavour slowly, so the same spoonful brews twice.
A teaspoon is enough. Whole flowers are light but potent — one teaspoon per cup gives the full honeyed flavour. Cover while steeping to keep the oils in.
Most herbal tea is what's left after the good leaves are sold. Ours is the good leaves.
Chamomile is the traditional Greek remedy for a child's upset stomach or restless night. Brew it weaker for little ones and let it cool. For infants, please check with your paediatrician first.
Hot: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz of just-boiled water, steeped 5–7 minutes. Iced: 4–6 teaspoons per quart of room-temperature water, steeped 4–6 hours. The leaves are generous, so you can re-steep them for a second batch.
Earthy, floral and fragrant with a natural honey sweetness and a smooth, refreshing finish — nothing like the flat, bitter chamomile of teabags. Whole flowers are the difference.
No — it's naturally caffeine-free, so you can enjoy it any time, including the evening.
Yes. We never grind, crush or bag our herbs. You see whole leaves, flowers and roots in the bag — and that's why each spoonful steeps twice.
Keep it in a cool, dark, dry place, sealed tight and away from sunlight and moisture. Dried herbs don't expire — they just slowly lose a little aroma and potency over time, so they're best enjoyed within about two years for peak flavor.
Our teas are natural, certified-organic herbs with nothing added. But pregnancy and breastfeeding are times to be a little extra careful — some herbs aren't recommended then, and everyone's situation is different. We always recommend checking with your doctor or midwife before adding a new herbal tea to your routine.

Blends built on this flower, its Grevena sister, and the honey that loves it.
I grew up on Ikaria, where herbs were not a wellness trend — they were what my grandmother picked on the hillside, dried on the roof and brewed every evening for whoever walked through the door.
Real leaves and roots, never the broken dust sealed into a bag.
Every plant we sell is harvested at peak potency, hand-cut, air-dried the traditional way and hand-packed. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
