    How to brew

    How to brew whole-leaf herbs

    Loose leaf is easier than it looks — the leaves do the work.

    Hot

    1. 1 tsp (a good pinch) per 8 oz cup
    2. Water just off the boil (212°F)
    3. Cover and steep 5–7 minutes
    4. Strain, sip — then steep the same leaves again

    Cold brew

    1. 4–6 tsp per quart of room-temperature water
    2. Steep 4–6 hours (or overnight in the fridge)
    3. Strain and pour over ice
    4. Optional: add honey or a lemon slice

    Steep twice. Whole herbs give a second full cup — so a sampler pouch goes further than it looks.

    Each pouch holds enough for 3–4 cups hot — or 6–8 if you steep the leaves twice, as we recommend. A sampler set is typically two to three weeks of daily tea.

    Yes — every herbal tea in our samplers is naturally caffeine-free. Only our Saffron Green Tea (sold separately) contains caffeine.

    Yes. We never grind, crush or bag our herbs. You see whole leaves, flowers and roots in the pouch.

    Reseal the pouch and keep it cool, dark and dry. Dried herbs keep their aroma for about two years.
